Neatem contributes to the sustainable management of French forests with EcoTree. No greenwashing, no abstract offsetting on the other side of the world: real trees, in French forests, sustainably managed.

How it works, concretely

Real trees, real foresters

We fund trees through EcoTree, a French company certified B Corp. Their foresters plant, monitor and manage these trees in French forests using close-to-nature silviculture: no clear-cutting, diverse species, natural regeneration, soil protection.

Our equipment is hosted at the Marilyn datacenter run by Celeste, cooled with outside air (free cooling), a PUE of 1.3, among the most energy-efficient in France (see our hosting page)

Day to day

We do not offset, we cut down

IT has a heavy CO2 footprint, we know. Rather than erasing it on paper, we reduce what we emit, one decision at a time.

Most of our car fleet is electric. And to reach our clients, everyone mixes transport modes to fit the job: public transport, motorbike, car, plane when necessary.
At Neatem we drink a lot of coffee. So we dropped the capsules and switched to bean-to-cup.
